Kristin Carrington, CEO
Kristin Carrington founded Carrington Risk Consulting in 2007 at the request of Simon (NYSE-SPG, a global leader in retail real estate ownership, management and development, and an S&P 100 Company) to manage the property risk control programs for Risk Management.
Kristin has held positions at major insurers including FM Global, Commerce & Industry, and AIG, and also at a major broker, Aon. While at FM Global, Kristin specialized in Windstorm Analysis with specific training provided post-Hurricane Andrew. She surveyed nearly 100 buildings to gather construction details and develop wind loss expectancies at each site. Kristin's work experience gives her a unique perspective of the property risk management industry from all possible angles.
In December of 2013, Kristin developed SnapCAT®, a mobile application designed to quickly gather specific building characteristics needed for input to models. In 2015, SnapCAT® inspired a suite of Apps, SnapRISK®. SnapCOPE®, SnapREC® and Self E-Audit®. All are now being used to assist Risk Managers, Underwriters, and Brokers in data gathering efforts.

Ms. Carrington holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
